The Cudy WE3000 AX5400 Tri-Band WiFi 6 PCIe Adapter adds fast wireless internet and Bluetooth 5.3 to a desktop PC through a PCI-E x1 slot. It uses Wi-Fi 6E technology across three bands, 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz, with speeds of up to 2402 Mbps on 6 GHz and 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. The Cudy WE3000 comes with two detachable antennas and works with Windows 10/11 64-bit systems.

Tri-Band Speeds on Three Bands

The Cudy AX5400 PCIe adapter supports the newer 6 GHz band, which has more open channels and less crowding than older bands. Each band has its own speed: 2402 Mbps on 6 GHz, 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz, and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. The 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands both use 2T2R (2x2 MIMO), which means the card sends and receives data on two streams at once. It supports 160 MHz channel width and 1024-QAM modulation, along with OFDMA for better efficiency when many devices share a network. For security, it supports WPA3 along with WPA2 and WPA.

Bluetooth 5.3 and Older Wi-Fi Support

The Cudy WE3000 also adds Bluetooth 5.3, which lets a desktop connect to wireless headphones, keyboards, mice, controllers, and other devices. Bluetooth works through a USB 9-pin motherboard header and the included cable. The adapter is backward compatible with 802.11ax, ac, n, g, b, and a networks, so it works with newer and older routers. If your router does not support 6 GHz, the adapter still connects over 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz.

Installation and Design

The Cudy WiFi 6 PCIe adapter fits a PCI-E x1 slot, and it also works in larger PCIe slots. Its two detachable antennas with RP-SMA connectors can be moved to a better spot for stronger signal reception.
