How to Build a Gaming PC in Bangladesh: Step-by-Step Guide

Building your own gaming PC gives you more performance for your money and an easy upgrade path. Follow these steps to plan a balanced gaming PC in Bangladesh, then put it together with our PC Builder, which checks compatibility for you.

Step 1: Set Your Target

Decide what you want to play and at what resolution. 1080p high settings needs a mid-range graphics card; 1440p high refresh or 4K needs much more. Your target decides where to spend.

Step 2: Graphics Card (GPU) First

The GPU matters most for gaming, so it usually takes 35-45% of the budget. For 1080p, cards in the RTX 5060 / RX 9060 XT class are a strong choice; for 1440p look at RTX 5070 or higher. See graphics cards.

Step 3: Processor (CPU)

A 6-core processor such as Ryzen 5 or Core i5 is enough for most games. Heavy streamers and editors benefit from 8 cores or more. Avoid pairing a very high-end GPU with an old entry-level CPU. See processors.

Step 4: Motherboard

The motherboard must match the CPU socket: AM4/AM5 for AMD, LGA1700/LGA1851 for Intel. B-series chipsets give the best value. Check M.2 slots, USB ports and whether you need built-in Wi-Fi.

Step 5: Memory (RAM)

Use 16GB (2x8GB) for gaming or 32GB (2x16GB) for gaming plus streaming. Match DDR4 or DDR5 to the motherboard, and use two sticks for dual-channel speed.

Step 6: Storage

A 1TB NVMe SSD is the sweet spot: modern games are large and load much faster from NVMe. Add a hard disk later for media storage.

Step 7: Power Supply (PSU)

Never cheap out on the PSU. Choose a quality 80 Plus Bronze or Gold unit with at least the wattage your graphics card maker recommends, plus some headroom. Bangladesh's voltage fluctuations make this even more important.

Step 8: Casing and Cooling

Pick a case with a mesh front for airflow and enough space for your GPU length and CPU cooler height. High-end CPUs need a good tower air cooler or AIO liquid cooler.

Step 9: Protect It With a UPS

A UPS lets you save and shut down during load-shedding and protects components from sudden power loss. See UPS.
